Review of Gymnastics in Australia
In mid-2020, gymnastics was thrust into the media spotlight due to multiple stories coming out about the mistreatment of gymnasts within Australia and worldwide. These stories are truly awful and we (Zodiacs) released this public statement on Facebook at the time to reassure members and the public that we put the wellbeing of our gymnasts first and that we stand with the courageous gymnasts who spoke out as there is no room for abuse in our sport. Gymnastics Australia took these stories of abuse very seriously and has since conducted an independent review into the sport.
